Born in Casale Monferrato (Alessandria) on April 9, 1982, he moved to Rome in 2001, city where nowadays he is living and working.
In 2001-2003 he attended a Master in Filmmaking at Nuova Università del Cinema e della Televisione of Cinecittà, a two-year conservatory-based undergraduate program.
In 2007 he graduated in liberal-arts at Roma Tre University.
Between 2000 and 2003 he directed "L’Eterno Vitellone" (2000), a file footage film dedicated to the life and work of Federico Fellini (Special Mention at Gorizia-Grado First International Video Film Festival For Students Under 20); "Protagonista per caso", a short documentary film (DV Cam – 9 min. - 2003); "Altarini", a grotesque comedy (super16mm - 7 min. - 2003).
Nowadays he is film critic and historian for «Cinemaplus.it», «Cineforme.it» and «Cinem’Art».
In 2009, together with Mario Corrado, he produced and directed "Platges", a documentary feature film. This film is also his debut as a feature film director.
